All-Over Print on Cotton
Choose cotton when you want full-surface artwork with a more natural fabric feel — especially for fashion, lifestyle and everyday apparel.
All-over print
Create products where the artwork goes beyond a standard print area. Design across the front, back, sleeves and individual panels — with AOP options for both cotton and polyester.
What is All-Over Print?
With All-Over Print, your design is applied to fabric before the product is assembled. The printed material is cut into individual panels and then sewn into the finished garment or accessory.
This makes it possible to create artwork across areas that simply are not available with standard garment printing.
Cotton or polyester?
The right printing method depends on the fabric. Snapwear combines cotton AOP with roll-to-roll textile printing and polyester AOP with sublimation, giving you more flexibility when building a collection.

Choose polyester when vivid color, synthetic performance fabrics or specific product applications are the priority.
Cotton AOP technology
Cotton AOP is one of the technologies that sets Snapwear apart. Our roll-to-roll production is powered by Kornit Presto Max, enabling high-quality printing directly onto cotton and cotton-rich fabrics at production scale.
For brands, that means the creative freedom of All-Over Print without limiting the collection to polyester. For artwork preparation, seam tolerances and hand-feel checks, read our practical guide to cotton all-over print.

Design for AOP
AOP works best when the artwork takes advantage of the product's full shape. Think beyond a centered graphic and build a composition that works across individual panels.
Artwork preparation
A few production-aware choices make a big difference to the finished result.
Prepare artwork using the template assigned to the exact product and its printable panels.
Continue patterns and backgrounds beyond the visible cut line to account for normal production tolerances.
Avoid placing text, faces, logos or other elements requiring exact alignment directly across panel boundaries.

FAQ
A few practical details to help you choose the right method and prepare your product.
Choose AOP when the design needs to cover multiple areas or become part of the entire product. Choose DTG when you want detailed artwork printed within a defined area on a finished garment.
Not always. Separate printed panels are cut and sewn together, so small positional differences are normal. Designs that tolerate slight variation usually work best across seams.
Repeating patterns, organic compositions, large illustrations and designs that do not depend on exact seam alignment are especially well suited to AOP.
Yes. You can order a sample first to review the finished product before adding it to your store or scaling the design.
