FAQ

TakeDrop dropshipping and POD questions, answered

The key differences between the platforms and the practical details you need before connecting your first store.

What is TakeDrop?

TakeDrop is an e-commerce platform designed for running an online store and selling without your own warehouse. It combines a store builder with payments, analytics, marketing tools and integrations for product sourcing and sales automation.

How is TakeDrop different from Snapwear?

TakeDrop is the customer-facing store and e-commerce management platform. Snapwear is the integrated print-on-demand supplier where you personalize products and where production, packing and delivery are handled after a sale.

Where do I find the TakeDrop integration key?

Open the Snapwear integration settings in your TakeDrop panel. Copy the key shown there and paste it when connecting TakeDrop in Snapwear under My Account → My Stores.

How do products get into my TakeDrop store?

Create and personalize the product in Snapwear, then publish it to the connected store. In TakeDrop, open Products → List and confirm that the new product has been imported.

Can I combine Snapwear products with regular dropshipping products?

Yes. The Snapwear integration adds personalized print-on-demand products to the wider product sourcing and integration options available in TakeDrop.

Do I need to hold inventory?

No. Snapwear products are produced after they are sold, so you do not need to buy finished stock or keep it in your own warehouse before launching a collection.

Who prints, packs and ships Snapwear products?

Snapwear handles the production and fulfillment of integrated print-on-demand products. The customer places the order through your TakeDrop store, while the physical item is made and dispatched through Snapwear.

Do I need a registered business?

A standard Snapwear account requires company information. If you already use the TakeDrop Incubator, do not create a Snapwear account independently—contact the TakeDrop Incubator team so the connection can be arranged through the correct process.

What costs should I expect?

Creating a Snapwear seller account does not require a separate platform subscription; you pay for fulfilled products, delivery and selected add-ons. Your TakeDrop subscription and available platform features depend on the current TakeDrop plan you choose.
